A Nationally Ranked Professional Sales Education Program

The Department of Marketing in the College of Business offers a nationally recognized professional sales program. In conjunction with the Professional Sales Institute (PSI), the professional sales program was named one of the Top University Sales Programs in the United States by the University Sales Education Foundation in 2014 for the seventh consecutive year. Illinois State University is one of 68 universities nationally to offer a specialized undergraduate program in professional sales.

University Sales Center Alliance

The Professional Sales Program at Illinois State University is recognized as a  member of the University Sales Center Alliance (USCA). There are only 19 universities in the United States that are full members of the USCA. Full membership requires that the institution have a separate center or institute to support professional sales. The Professional Sales Institute fulfills this requirement. Full membership also requires passing five strict criteria for USCA certification including: staff, structure, curriculum, affiliation, and quality.

The MBA Program at Illinois State University was ranked by U.S. News and World Report as one of the Best Part-Time MBA Programs in the country. ISU ranked #111 nationally out of all programs accredited by AACSB International.

From U.S. News."U.S. News's part-time M.B.A. ranking is based on five factors: average peer assessment score (50 percent of the school's overall score); the average GMAT score of part-time M.B.A. students entering in fall 2011 (15 percent); their average undergraduate GPA (5 percent); work experience (15 percent); and the percentage of the business school's fall 2011 M.B.A. enrollment that is part time (15 percent)."

MBA Program ranked Top 100 Most Social Media Friendly

The MBA Program at Illinois State University was ranked by as being among the Top 100 Most Social Media Friendly MBA Schools for 2013. Online MBA is a social education community formed in 2012  in response to the growing demand of MBA's in the United States, China and the emerging markets.

More and more prospective students are looking to find new information about  the quality, curriculum, and distinct features of M.B.A. programs they are considering  attending. The rankings were determined based on data gathered from the social  media accounts of more than 400 campus-based business schools. Schools were  ranked in terms of their presence and activity levels on various social media platforms.
