Through our curriculum, students will learn about the breadth of areas that fall under the IMC umbrella with a critical focus on stategically integrating all marketing messages while never losing sight of the target market.  To do this, students will need to understand the importance of market research, market planning, implementation, and follow-up, in addition to the continuous focus on consistent brand messaging.  Additionally, throughout their courses, faculty will facilitate training and recommend various certificates through orgranizations such as Adobe, Google, HubSport, Salesforce and more.  These trainings will help students to hone specific skills and differentiate themselves on the job market.

Being Successful in the Field

As a marketing major, it is strongly recommended that you take MKT 190 (introduction to Marketing) in your sophomore year and declare the IMC sequence before your Junior year to maximize various opportunities, including internships and getting involved with extra-curricular activities and events.
