The American Marketing Association promotes networking activities that allow students the opportunity to meet marketing professionals and faculty. AMA hosts fun social events where students meet others with similar interests and professional goals. Additionally, they offer many opportunities for students to develop leadership and communication skills, marketing experience, and character. The Illinois State University Student Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) was awarded the International Chapter of the Year in 2004 and received the Midwest Chapter of the Year in 2005 and 2007! Pi Sigma Epsilon is the only national, co-ed, professional fraternal organization in sales, marketing, and management. Pi Sigma Epsilon's mission is to develop the sales and marketing skills of its members through lifelong opportunities. Although we focus in sales, marketing, and management, we accept students from all majors. PSE\'s goal is to provide collegiate students with practical business experience through sales, sales projects, marketing, marketing research and community service projects. Through these experiences members are able to enhance communication skills, network with business professionals, promote business competitiveness and build lifelong friendships. Pi Sigma Epsilon has grown to be the premiere organization for motivated and dedicated students looking to maximize their college experience. The Delta Omega chapter at ISU has accomplished top Gold Chapter nationally for the past three years; PSE was named "Top Registered Student Organization" at ISU in 2009 and most recently named the Career Center's "RSO of the year 2010."

Beta Gamma Sigma is the national scholastic honor society in the field of business administration recognized by AACSB International -– The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. A formal induction ceremony is held each spring to recognize the scholastic achievements of individual students. To be eligible for membership, students' academic rankings must place them in the upper 10 percent of the junior class, upper 10 percent of the senior class, or upper 20 percent of the graduate/master class. The ISU Chapter was named an exemplary chapter in 2006 and 2007.

Christian Business Leaders is a recognized student organization at Illinois State University. The organization was founded in 2015 by a group of students who wanted to foster a Christ centered organization that encourages service through Christ and leadership in business.
