Phi Beta Lambda

Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) is the collegiate division of Future Business Leaders of America.  The Organizational Leadership Institute sponsors the Illinois State University chapter of PBL.  PBL students engage a number of leadership and social activities throughout the academic year, including a number of state and national conferences and competitions.  PBL also co-sponsors (along with the Leadership Institute) the annual Fall Leadership Case Competition.

Who are we?

Phi Beta Lambda is a co-ed career and technical organization affiliated with the Future Business Leaders of America, we are the college division. Phi Beta Lambda at ISU is an opportunity for students to develop their leadership skills through philanthropic, social, and fundraising opportunities. The Illinois State Chapter of Phi Beta Lambda is a fresh face for Illinois State to offer new opportunities to growing leaders. Phi Beta Lambda is multifaceted in that we cater to majors outside the college of business, which promotes diversity and broadens our network.
