This year the Inspire Event will be following a new direction as we tackle the topic of diversity. In the past year's we have strictly talked about woman's exchange of knowledge. Last year, the Business Week team hosted a conference last year geared towards women for the second year in a row. This event was open to all students to participate.
Inspire included breakout sessions held at the College of Business followed by a keynote address at the Normal Theatre. Students heard about various topics surrounding embracing women in the workforce and encouraging women to be strong leaders. Each breakout session furthered their understanding of gender dynamics in the workplace and empowering oneself during the process.
