Illinois State University’s College of Business is pleased to announce that the 6th CSEAR North America Conference (Centre for Social and Environmental Accounting Research) will take place on June 1 and 2, 2016.
Similar to the CSEAR UK Summer School, the Congress will be a deliberately informal gathering of researchers, teachers, students and practitioners concerned with social and environmental accounting in the very widest sense. Interdisciplinary submissions are encouraged. Its emphasis is on a high level of interaction, discussion and debate in a friendly, supportive and relaxed atmosphere. Attendees are likely to include academics, practitioners and doctoral students at all levels of experience, and involved with all aspects of social, environmental and sustainability research, teaching and practice in accounting and other disciplines. Both full and research-in progress papers are welcomed.
For this 6th CSEAR North America Conference, we are pleased to welcome Professor Dean Neu, Professor of Accounting, Schulich School of Business at York University (Toronto, Canada) as our plenary speaker.
The Centre for Social and Environmental Accounting Research (CSEAR) has held an annual conference in the UK (often referred to as the Summer School) for almost two decades, and other parts of the world in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and in the Americas.
