The Executive Classroom is customized for distance-learning, with two high-resolution Pan-Tilt-Zoom cameras, and a Jabra conferencing microphone. Other features include ultra- short throw projector and a Blu-Ray™ player, plus a document camera and VGA+HDMI cables for most laptops. (Click on the picture to enlarge)
To use the document camera, fold camera into upright position with camera pointing down at white document board. Press Power button, and Light button if necessary. Then select Document Camera as source on the touch panel. Controls on the camera head enable zooming, focusing, and turning auto-focus on and off.
In the cable bay next to the phone you will see electric outlets, network cable, USB extension, and VGA and HDMI cables for laptop use. (Click on the picture for detail)
Use the camera dialog in Skype to select which camera should feed your remote session, then use the remote control (kept in drawer) to aim and zoom the camera. The remote control is quite directional; select 'Camera 1' on the remote and point it at the camera you want to aim. (Click on the picture to enlarge)
The Jabra conferencing microphone (kept in accessory drawer) helps your distant participant hear action in the room very clearly. Unwind the cord under the microphone and plug it into either the USB port on the front of the console computer, or the USB extension cable in the console cable bay. The microphone has touch controls for on/off, mute, and sensitivity. (Click on the picture to enlarge)
Use the controls on the touch panel to operate the Blu-Ray player. (Click on the picture to enlarge)
Keyspan remote controls give you mobility to walk around the room, while advancing slides in a PowerPoint presentation. The black Keyspan is for the built-in console computer. The silver Keyspan, and its matching receiver, are for visitors to connect to their laptops while connected to the console. Please return the Keyspan remote (and receiver!) to the accessory drawer in the console.
At certain times of day, sunlight may enter through the high circular window on the garage side of the building, and shine on the projection screen. If this happens, use the white SOMFY remote control to lower the blind. This control is radio-based and does not have to be 'pointed' at the shade to work. (Click on the picture to enlarge)
Accessories such as the Jabra conferencing microphone and remote controls, are kept in the accessory drawer in the console. (Click on the picture to enlarge)
