Keith primarily teaches Business Organization and Management (MQM 220), as well as Leadership: Teams & Team Development (MQM 380) and Organizational Behavior (MQM 221). He also serves as the faculty advisor to the business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi.
Prior to joining the MQM faculty in 2008, Keith's career included over 20 years of management and leadership experience as a public safety director, CEO, senior state administrator, and corporate HR director/business partner. He has earned national recognition and state-wide awards for his leadership, business practices, creative service delivery, and public education. He is a graduate of the Weinberg Institute's Problem-Solving Leadership program and has received advanced training in team development and facilitation. Keith has presented at over 40 regional and state conferences and previously wrote a monthly management column for a web-based public safety journal.
Keith is a recipient of the 2014-15 Non-Tenure Track Faculty Award for Teaching Excellence in the College of Business, and The Red Tassel Chapter of Mortar Board Faculty Appreciation Award.
Keith is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
