I.M. “Jim” Jawahar received his Ph.D. degree in Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior from Oklahoma State University. Jim served as Department Chair and as Associate Provost at Illinois State University. In 2012, Jim was designated as University Professor. Jim has authored over 60 journal articles with many of them published in top-tier journals, such as AMR, JAP, JOM, and Personnel Psychology.
Since 2007, he has been serving as Editor of Career Development International, an international journal with a 5-year impact factor of 2.704. Jim’s research interest areas include performance appraisal, fairness perceptions, citizenship and counterproductive work behaviors, and career-related issues.
His leisure activities include running and working out to stay fit, and he enjoys spending time with his family.
