Dr. Ribbens teaches International Business courses at Illinois State. She has a background in teaching strategy, organizational theory and decision making. She has taught in various contexts including a variety of study abroad settings and an international exchange center; she also spent a semester teaching in a Mexican university. Her research includes sustainability, careers, and decision making issues in the global context.
In addition to presentations at international, national and regional conferences, she has published in Career Development International, Academy of Management Journal, and Small Group Research. She has also authored book chapters in Innovative Approaches to Global Sustainability, Organizations and the Sustainability Mosaic: Crafting Long-Term Ecological and Societal Solutions and Growing Pains: Environmental Management in Developing Countries.
