On Campus MBA | Criteria for Admission

Admission to the program is based on the following criteria:

  • Performance on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)*;
  • Undergraduate grade point average (GPA) earned during the last 60 credit hours of undergraduate work; and
  • Other indicators of potential for success in the graduate study of business, including recommendations, personal essays, and previous work experience.

*Students have the opportunity to petition for a GMAT waiver based on certain circumstances.  A link to the petition form is below.  Interested applicants are encouraged to review the requirements and apply if they are interested.

Students admitted for the Fall 2018 term averaged:

  • A GPA for the last 60 hours of undergraduate course work of 3.41 on a 4.0 scale
  • A GMAT score of 551
  • Previous work experience of 3.41 years

The minimum score for the iBT TOEFL (or its equivalent) is 80 or above, though the program recommends a score of 90 or better. The IELTS will be considered in place of the TOEFL. 

All applicants who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents must submit the following materials to Graduate Admissions:

  • Admission Application  for Domestic Students. 
  • Official GMAT Scores.
  • Official copy of transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.

All international applicants must have the equivalent of a four-year degree and submit the following materials: 

  • Admission Application for International Students.
  • Official GMAT and TOEFL scores.
  • Official copy of transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.
  • Declaration of Finances
  • Passport

All applicants, domestic and international, are required to submit a personal statement, a current copy of their resume, and contact information for two individuals who will submit a letter of recommendation on their behalf.
