It is the policy of the Department of Accounting to allow a maximum of 6 semester hours of graduate transfer credit toward the MSA degree. All graduate transfer credit must be approved by the MSA director. Transfer hours approved by the MSA director will be used for business electives only, not for accounting course requirements.The transfer courses must have been completed at a college or university accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
Transfer credit must carry a grade of "B" or higher. The transfer courses must not be part of a degree program that was previously completed. Transfer credit may not be used in meeting the minimum number of 400-level credit hours required for the master's degree. Students must complete a formal "Request for Transfer of Credit" form at the beginning of their MSA program with the approval of the MSA director.
