The Leadership Fellows Program gives selected seniors the opportunity to more fully explore leadership, and to learn more about their own leadership style. Participants will participate in leadership activities with various leaders from local organizations, including State Farm, COUNTRY Financial, and GROWMARK. In addition, participants will engage in a one-on-one mentoring relationship with a manager from State Farm. Students will also complete a behavioral self-assessment and receive expert feedback regarding their style and the implications for leadership. More information about the Leadership Fellows Program.
The program is open to students of all majors in the College of Business. Students must be in their senior year during the year of the program (i.e., December 2018 or May/August 2019 graduation). Students from all departments (Management, Accountancy, Finance and Marketing) have participated in the Leadership Fellows Program.
There is no dollar cost. All expenses are covered by a grant from Caterpillar. The experience is not for academic credit and is not part of your course schedule.
You must complete and submit an application by the due date for full consideration. A current resume must accompany your application. Additional information or interviews may be required. Criteria used for selecting students will focus on co-curricular experiences on and off campus as well as an explanation of your interest in the program.
Applications for the Fall 2018 program are now available and due by Tuesday - May 15, 2018.
