I would like to take a moment to welcome you to our new world of Virtual Preview. Since 1966, ISU Preview has been a proud university tradition that helps build closer relationships between staff and incoming freshman and between parents and the University. It’s a special time on campus each summer and always gives me great pleasure to see students walking the Quad and visiting campus sites with their families.

However, for the summer of 2020, this amazing and uplifting event is taking on a different look in the form of a virtual experience. Themed Living The Business Themed Living Learning Community (TLLC) is for students pursuing a major or minor in the College of Business.  This community provides a unique atmosphere for residents who share common interests and cultivates an environment that supports personal growth through academic and social programming.
 A Registered Student Organization is one of the best ways to experience the College of Business. Registered Student Organizations (RSO) help students find their way by providing multitude of opportunities for involvement in the College of Business. You can get involved and stay connected by participating in student activities through a Registered Student Organizations. RSO
Housing The University’s undergraduate housing is clustered in four neighborhoods located across Illinois State’s 850-acre campus. The four areas include Hewett and Manchester Halls, Tri-Towers, Watterson Towers, and Cardinal Court. All are within walking distance from the University’s picturesque Quad. Each area provides its own unique feel. 
 College of Business Academic Advisement is an essential part of the educational process. College of Business Academic Advisors are professionals who provide resources, guidance and support to undergraduate students. As part of the advising experience students will explore, define, and develop an educational plan of action to achieve their academic goals. Business Week offers engaging, authentic and professional opportunities that enable students to interact closely with alumni, employers and industry thought leaders as they develop essential soft skills and understandings required for success. Leadership, corporate social responsibility, business etiquette, effective networking, goal setting, communication and career management are among the topics addressed through the week long series of interactive events.  Business Week is managed by a student led committee with guidance from professional staff in the College of Business.

The College of Business is looking for marketing and social media interns for the 2019 - 2020 school year.  Are you who we’re looking for?   Then APPLY HERE A College of Business (COB) Marketing Intern is a hardworking and motivated individual who wants to learn more about day-to-day operations as a hands-on marketing professional and promoter of events. Our Marketing Interns are highly involved in collaborating for our BusinessISU social media accounts.

Be a part of the Pay It Forward Team. Pay it Forward Student Fund is a fund centered around “students helping students.” Pay It Forward Student Fund sponsored and funded by Ron Whitton of Dentsmart and in part by the students, faculty, and staff of the College of Business.  It provides a unique opportunity to help students develop personally and professionally.  Apply here to join the PIF Team.
RCP
The Redbird Career Portfolio (RCP) is a certificate program designed to allow students to participate in a variety of experiential learning activities beginning in his or her freshman year and continuing through his or her senior year. Students will have an opportunity to earn eight points per year by completing activities designed specifically to address the concerns of recruiters and employers.
