I take great pleasure in teaching students by leveraging my extensive experience in the insurance industry. My aim is to provide them with a comprehensive framework for examining risk in business. Through practical examples and real-world insights, I strive to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the complexities of the industry. My goal is to lay a strong foundation that not only enhances their understanding of risk management but also prepares them to launch successful careers in the field.
Research Interests & Areas
My research primarily focuses on the regulation and legislation surrounding the insurance industry. I am particularly interested in how these regulatory frameworks impact the operational decision-making processes within insurance companies. This includes examining the strategies insurance companies employ to comply with regulations, the influence of legislative changes on their business models, and the overall effect of regulatory policies on industry practices and consumer protection.
