Biography

Sabine Khalil obtained her Ph.D. in Management of Information Systems from Telecom Paristech in Paris, France. Prior to Illinois State, Sabine was an Assistant Professor at a Business School in Paris for 4 years. She has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering as well as a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon. Sabine has several publications in Information Systems journals and in conferences such as the Academy of Management, the Information Conference on Information Systems, and the European Conference on Information Systems. Her research interests include technology affordances, organizational agility, and the adoption of new technologies in organizations, such as cloud computing, blockchain, and augmented reality.
