At the Professional Development Dinner, College of Business faculty with etiquette expertise provide coaching advice to guide students in their future business endeavors. These tips provide invaluable insights that could turn a potentially stressful encounter into an enjoyable and powerful professional opportunity. While interviewing or conducting business over a meal, knowing proper etiquette is essential. This holds true for email communications, online interactions, and social outings.
We invite you to participate in this event with industry representatives while enjoying dinner and great conversation. A social networking hour will precede the dinner for students, faculty, and company representatives.
There is a $10.00 registration fee for students for this event.

TOBY ATKINSON Toby Atkinson serves as the National Director of Toby began her career with Cintas in 2006. Prior to her current role, she held several key positions, including HR Manager supporting multiple locations in the North Central Group for seven years. She also pioneered the first Sales Talent Acquisition role for the Rental Division, launched the first Campus Talent Acquisition Manager role, and served as HR Director for the Mid South Group in the Rental Division. Passionate about service and community impact, Toby has earned numerous accolades, including the Governor’s Service Award (2023). She also holds titles such as Mrs. North Carolina United States 2023, Mrs. United States 2023, and Mrs. United States Legacy Queen Recipient 2026. Additionally, she advocates for Alzheimer’s awareness as a North Carolina State Advocate for the Alzheimer’s Association. Outside of her professional and advocacy work, Toby enjoys family life with her husband, Shaun, and their two children, Grace and Isaac. |
MAX LANGENKAMP Max is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Max earned his Bachelor’s degree from Ohio State University and his law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management, the Association of Corporate Counsel, the Ohio State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Cincinnati Bar Association and the Black Lawyer Association of Cincinnati. Max also serves on the board of directors for a number of non-profit organizations and is the President for the Multicultural Food & Hospitality Alliance Board, a subsidiary of the National Restaurant Association. Max has also held board seats with several civic organizations and in 2019, he was named Chief Human Resource Officer of the Year for the United States by HRO Today Magazine. Max is a proud father of two. His son is pursuing a collegiate baseball career and his daughter is a high school sophomore. He comes from a “sports family” and played football for Ohio State and funded an endowed scholarship for African- American student athletes at his high school alma mater. Max understands the impact that team sports had on his own life and wants to ensure that others have the opportunities he had to compete as student-athletes. |
