At the Professional Development Dinner, College of Business faculty with etiquette expertise provide coaching advice to guide students in their future business endeavors. These tips provide invaluable insights that could turn a potentially stressful encounter into an enjoyable and powerful professional opportunity. While interviewing or conducting business over a meal, knowing proper etiquette is essential. This holds true for email communications, online interactions, and social outings.

We invite you to participate in this event with industry representatives while enjoying dinner and great conversation. A social networking hour will precede the dinner for students, faculty, and company representatives.

There is a $10.00 registration fee for students for this event.

TIM PANTALEONE | STATE FARM
Audit Investigator

Portrait of Tim PantaleoneTim is an Audit Investigator with State Farm and an adjunct faculty member of the University of Northern Colorado. Tim started his State Farm career in a variety of financial operations roles focused on expense management, payment and banking operations, and financial forecasting. Tim then led payment processing and money movement projects for the organization before moving to the Company’s Internal Audit department. Within Internal Audit, Tim has led efforts in data analytics, continuous improvement, quality assurance, and identification of fraud risk. Tim earned his MBA with a focus on Economic Crime and Fraud Management from Utica University, as well as a variety of fraud examination, insurance, and data analytics designations.  Tim’s academic work focuses on organizational administration/leadership, critical thinking, and ethics. 

While attending Illinois State, Tim was named a Bone Scholar. He is a past President of the Illinois State Alumni Board of Directors and volunteers with Illinois State Athletics. Tim was a recipient of the college’s Early Career Achievement Award and is proud to facilitate training for the Business Week Mentoring program with Eric Hoss.  A fun fact about Tim, he served as Reggie Redbird during his time as a student and was recently featured in an Alumni magazine story and video about his time as ISU’s mascot.
