Scholarships List

  • Dr. Doris Howell Crank and Floyd L. Crank Scholarship Award

    For a sophomore, junior, or senior majoring in Business Teacher Education, in good standing at Illinois State University with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0/4.0 or higher. The student must also demonstrate a commitment to serving others. As part of the application process, the student must submit an essay focusing on why he/she is interested in a professional career in Business Teacher Education, why he/she selected the major, and how the scholarship will impact his/her academic future. The scholarship is to be used for educational expenses and will be credited to the student's account with Illinois State University.

  • Jean Kempel Grever Scholarship

    Need-based scholarship for a sophomore, junior, or senior majoring in Business Teacher Education, in good standing at Illinois State University with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0/4.0 or higher. The student must also demonstrate a commitment to serving others through involvement in school and/or community activities. As part of the application process, the student must submit an essay focusing on why he/she is interested in a professional career in Business Teacher Education, why he/she selected his/her major, and how the scholarship will impact his/her academic future. The award is to be used for educational expenses and will be credited to the recipient's account with Illinois State University.

  • Bailey Endowment for Business and Education Scholarship

    For a sophomore, junior, or senior majoring in Business Teacher Education, in good standing at Illinois State University with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0/4.0 or higher. As part of the application process, the student must submit an essay focusing on why he/she is interested in a professional career in Business Teacher Education, they he/she selected the major, and how the scholarship will impact his/her academic future. The scholarship is to be used for educational expenses and will be credited to the recipient's account with Illinois State University.

  • Warren S. Perry Scholarship

    Need-based scholarship for students pursuing the major in Business Teacher Education. Awarded to a student after the first year at Illinois State University. The recipient should not only display financial need, but also involvement in extra-curricular activities, organizations, clubs, etc. An awards committee reviews candidates' credentials and selects the recipient.

  • The Lewis R. Toll Scholarship Award

    For an outstanding junior or senior majoring in Business Teacher Education; requirements include exceptional academic achievement, participation in extra-curricular functions, and professional conduct. An awards committee reviews candidates credentials and selects the recipients.

  • Business Teacher Education Foundation Award

    For juniors or seniors majoring in Business Teacher Education with an outstanding academic record and extra-curricular activities; two to four awards are presented annually. An awards committee reviews candidates' credentials and selects the recipients.

  • National Business Teacher Education Association Award

    For an outstanding senior in Business Teacher Education interested in pursuing a teaching career in Business Education. Award consists of a one-year membership to NBEA. An awards committee reviews candidates' credentials and selects the recipient.

  • Ralph Wray Scholarship

    For a student majoring in Business Teacher Education with 30 - 90 hours completed. Character, leadership, and service activities are considered along with academic achievement and financial need. An awards committee reviews candidates' credentials and selects the recipients.

  • Outstanding Business Teacher Education Student

    For a senior majoring in Business Teacher Education with a 3.3 GPA or higher and at least 90 hours completed. An awards committee reviews candidates' credentials and selects the recipient.
