Katie School CPCU Symposium

The 13th Annual Katie School/CPCU Symposium will take place beginning the evening of April 14, continuing April 15 and April 16, 2025.

The purpose of the Katie School/CPCU Symposium is to provide an opportunity for students, academics, and industry to learn about emerging issues facing the insurance industry that may impact the next generation of industry professionals. This will be a hybrid event with a Networking Mixer taking place in-person, and the Symposium taking place both online and in-person on the campus of Illinois State University.

This year’s theme is “Tech & Trust | The New Risk Era.”

Monday – April 14

Event is an IN PERSON mixer of students, faculty, staff, and industry professionals at Bone Student Center: Old Main Room from 5-7pm. Dinner will be provided assuming you register by April 7th . The evening will also feature scholarship winners, networking time, and keynote speaker Roy Magnuson, Director of Emerging Technologies, Instruction and Research at Illinois State University.
