Elizabeth Altpeter

Hi! My name is Elizabeth Altpeter, and I am a current senior studying Integrated Marketing Communications and Psychology. I am from Cary, Illinois, a smaller town in the suburbs of Chicago. 

In my time here at ISU, the organizations that have left a lasting impact on me have been Business Week and Women In Business. These student organizations have helped me spread my wings in the College of Business, and I am beyond excited to see the work I will complete as a Social Media Intern!

In my free time, you can usually find me at the gym! Weightlifting and fitness have been a huge passion of mine since the beginning of college. I also enjoy learning new hobbies like film photography, crocheting, and more. Growing as a Business Bird has taught me that learning and curiosity is vital both inside and outside of the classroom."

Edwin Brkic

Greetings! My name is Edwin Brkic. I am from Park Ridge, Illinois a northwest suburb of Chicago. I am a Junior majoring in Marketing with sequences in Integrated Marketing Communications and Advanced Analytics.

I am also involved in other RSO's including Business Week where I am the Vice President of Marketing. I am also a part of Alpha Kappa Psi and American Marketing Association. A few fun facts about me: My favorite restaurants are Raising Cane's and Chipotle. I am 100% Bosnian. I cannot stand coffee.

Finally, I was last year's recipient of the Connie Krug Award. This is my third year on the social media team (time sure flies). If you see me around the atrium feel free to say hello and ask for a 5QT!

Hayleigh Brokaw

Hello, my name is Hayleigh! This is my third and final year on the COB Social Media Team and I could not be more excited! I am a Business Administration major with a minor in Communication Studies, and love the College of Business.

I am hoping to pursue a future career as a paralegal in Business Law. One of my favorite tasks on the team is writing our student blogs!

Ava Kaminski

My name is Ava Kaminski. I am currently a junior majoring in Marketing with a sequence in integrated marketing communications.

I am currently in Phi Beta Lambda business fraternity and am our recruitment chair.

Max Marcionetti

My name is Max Marcionetti and I am a Junior this year! I am from Naperville, Illinois and I am majoring in Marketing with a sequence in Professional Sales. I am the VP of Marketing for PGN a Business Fraternity on campus, and I also am the IBFC Director for SLAB. I have been on the team for two years now and I have enjoyed my time!

For fun, I play ultimate frisbee and disc golf! I chose to attend Illinois State University because I felt welcomed here and the College of Business is outstanding here. Also, I love watching football, baseball, and basketball.

I enjoy social media because you can be creative and engage with your audience. You can bring them valuable information but also make them laugh!

Janice Nyarko

Hi everyone! My name is Janice Nyarko, and I am a senior Accounting major here at Illinois State from Chicago, Illinois.

Outside of the social media team, I am involved on campus. I am the president of the National Association of Black Accountants. I am also the Secretary of the African Student Association. I am the Diversity and Inclusion Chair for Business Week and the Vice President of Community Involvement for the Accounting and Finance Women's Alliance.

When I have free time from all the lovely things I do on campus, I love enjoying the nice weather and spending time with family and friends, especially my niece and nephew. I also really enjoy listening to music and dancing, specially Afrobeats.
