Our Social Media Team
The Social Media Interns @BusinessISU are connected, involved current students who are leaders in our community, convey a wealth of accurate knowledge about the College of Business (COB), span a wide variety of academic focuses and co-curricular interests, and are passionate about social media. These students are your “online tour guides” for both the undergraduate and graduate schools.
Edwin Brkic
Hello! My name is Edwin Brkic. I am from Park Ridge, Illinois, a northwest suburb of Chicago. I am a Senior majoring in Marketing with sequences in Integrated Marketing Communications and Advanced Analytics. This will be my fourth team on the Social Media Team!
This year, I am very excited to be serving as the President of the Business Week Team. I am also involved in other RSOs including Alpha Kappa Psi and American Marketing Association. I love seeing students get involved on campus and being able to share that through social media. One of my biggest passions is traveling.
This past summer, I spent a few weeks visiting family in Bosnia, Croatia, and Austria. I plan to travel to even more countries after I graduate. If you see me around, don't be afraid to say hi!
Robert Callan
Hello! My name is Robert Callan and I am a Junior this year! I am from Skokie, Illinois and I am majoring in Marketing with a double sequence in Marketing Analytics and Integrated Marketing Communications.
I am currently the VP of Communications for the American Marketing Association, an active member of Phi Gamma Nu a Business Fraternity on Campus and have worked with Innovation Consulting Community through Illinois State University. During my free time I like to go to the gym, listen to music and work on designing digital content for companies and my own personal expenditures.
Marketing caught my eye as a major since I've always been drawn to creative work. The many job opportunities it provides is also a big bonus for me.
Nick Chavez
Hi everyone! My name is Nick Chavez, and I am a senior Integrated Marketing Communications major here at Illinois State from Aurora, Illinois. Outside of the social media team, I am involved on campus.
I am the vice president of Marketing at Delta Sigma Pi. Because of the opportunity to join such an organization as this, I credit the College of Business for helping me in developing a drive and passion for marketing.
Outside of that, I spend my time doing realistic art and skateboarding. During the colder months I spend my time in the gym frequently.
Chelsea Cora
Hi! My name is Chelsea Cora, and I am a senior majoring in Integrated Marketing Communications and Professional Sales. During my time here at ISU, there have been organizations within the College of Business that have influenced me as a student. Alpha Kappa Psi and Business Week are two of those organizations that have left an impact on me.
I am thrilled to now gain knowledge as a Social Media Intern! Outside of classes, you can find me at the gym or binging my favorite tv shows! I also love to play soccer and be around friends and family!
Being a part of the College of Business has helped me to grow as a young professional, and I can’t wait to see what my senior year holds!
Kylie Gaither
Hello, my name is Kylie Gaither! I am a senior here at Illinois State majoring in Integrated Marketing Communications and Advanced Marketing Analytics.
I am a part of multiple RSOs, I am the Activities Coordinator for the Student Leadership Advisory Board, Student Advisor of Women in Business, and a member of Beta Gamma Sigma. I'm also the Lead Student Design & Sales Manager for Campus Ink at ISU.
In my free time, I love spending time with my dog Bella, going to coffee shops, and visiting St. Louis where I am originally from. I am so excited for this school year and to showcase the COB on our social media accounts!
Caleb Hudson
My name is Caleb Hudson and I am a senior Marketing major with a double sequence in Integrated Marketing Communications and Advanced Marketing Analytics.
Here on campus, I am involved as the President of the professional business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi, and the Vice President of Logistics of Business Week here in the College of Business.
I also work as a Career Ambassador for Career Services in the Bone Student Center Some fun facts about me: I love listening to music, love to golf, and love spending time with my friends!
Emma Julian
Hi everyone! My name is Emma Julian and I am a junior majoring in Integrated Marketing Communications and Advanced Marketing Analytics here at Illinois State.
Apart from the social media team, I am the Vice President of Marketing for Women In Business at ISU which is an organization that means so much to me! Additionally, the past three years (and counting), I have been the Outreach Coordinator for Euphemism, Illinois State University's Creative Arts Journal.
In my free time I enjoy working out in the gym or outside. I also love reading new books and writing my own work which I have gotten published through Euphemism.
Ava Kaminski
Hello! I am Ava Kaminski and I am currently a senior studying Integrated Marketing Communication. I am originally from Itasca Illinois, which is a northwest suburb of Chicago.
While being at ISU, I was involved in Phi Beta Lambda business fraternity, where I have held many leadership positions. This will also be my second year being on the Social Media Team. I also have been a mentor for the past two years for Business Week.
Being involved in the College of Business has taught me so many useful tools that I will take with me after graduation.
Outside of class, I love going to the gym and taking walks on Constitution Trial. I enjoy cooking and hanging out with friends as well.
Max Marcionetti
My name is Max Marcionetti and I am a Senior this year! I am from Naperville, Illinois and I am majoring in Marketing with a sequence in Professional Sales and Integrated Marketing Communications. I am the President of the Student Leadership Advisory Board. I have been on the team for three years now and I have enjoyed my time! For fun, I play ultimate frisbee and disc golf!
I chose to attend Illinois State University because I felt welcomed here and the College of Business is outstanding here. Also, I love watching football, baseball, and basketball.
I enjoy social media because you can be creative and engage with your audience. You can bring them valuable information but also make them laugh!
Maeve Rattin
Hello! My name is Maeve Rattin and I am from Libertyville, Illinois. I am a senior marketing major with sequences in Integrated Marketing Communications and Advanced Marketing Analytics. I thrilled to be on the social media team because I am hoping to pursue a career in digital marketing.
Outside the social media team, I have many involvements on campus. I am Vice President of Marketing for Business week, Student Advisor for Women In Business and a member in the sorority Zeta Tau Alpha.
In my free time I enjoy spending time outdoors, working out, taking my dogs on a walk, going to concerts, and spending time with friends and family. A fun fact about me is I am Italian and Irish. Looking forward to my senior year in the College of Business!
Ryan Russell
Hi all! My name is Ryan Russell. I am from a small town outside Peoria, IL called Metamora. I am a Sophomore majoring in Marketing with a sequence in Professional Sales and a minor in Organizational Leadership.
Outside of the social media team, I am involved in multiple organizations on campus. I am the Vice President of the University Program Board. I am also the Vice President of Finance on the Interfraternity Council. Additionally, I am a Student Life Senator in the Student Government Association.
Alongside that, I am a Trivia Night Coordinator for Business Week. I also am an active member of Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity. Lastly, I serve as the Philanthropy Chairperson for Sigma Pi Fraternity.

I am very extroverted so we could be doing anything, but as long as I am around others, I am having a good time. Rachel Zlotowicz
Welcome fellow business birds! My name is Rachel Zlotowicz and I'm very happy to be on this page with you! I'm in my Junior year studying Marketing with a minor in Fashion Merchandising, so being on the Social Media Team is my ideal mix of business and creativity!
I've been testing the waters of Illinois State University through extracurriculars like being Bursar of Phi Sigma Sigma, a member of the Unlimited Dance Team, and a Business Week mentee graduate.
This year I'm looking forward to working in the social media team as well as getting more involved in the College of Business organizations! Some of my favorite activities include second-hand shopping, interior designing, creating graphics on Canva, movies, and having hammock sessions on the quad. If you ever see a green and yellow hammock that'll be me!
