2014 Laureate - David Lockton

David Lockton is Chairman of the Board of Lockton Companies, the world's largest privately held independent insurance broker. Lockton is also the world's 9th largest broker and a Best Place to Work award winner. David served as President and CEO before becoming Chairman in 2003.

Since joining the firm in 1976, David has guided Lockton to become a $1 billion global broker and sustain its remarkable growth. Under David's leadership, Lockton Companies has expanded operations globally, maintained its 95% client retention rate and developed the Claims Cost Control program. In 2006, Lockton acquired London-based Alexander Forbes International Risk Services. With over 60 offices on 5 continents, Lockton now serves its clients on a global scale.
