Business Administration minors at Illinois State are able to supplement their major coursework with a background in business. The minor is designed for students who want to study business, but don’t want to specialize in one of the customary functional areas of business (accounting, marketing, finance, or management).
The Business Administration Minor is not available to majors in the College of Business.
The minor in Business Environment & Sustainability helps to increase awareness and knowledge of the relationships between business and the physical environment. Students within the minor will be better prepared for further study or careers in organizational leadership, corporate social responsibility, risk management, and other sustainability-related areas.
Students may register for this minor from Feb 1 – 28 (for the following Fall semester) and September 1 – 30 (for the following Spring semester) through my.illinoisstate.edu
A minor in international business at Illinois State University helps to broaden a student's experience by supplementing their major within the College of Business with a more global prospective.
A minor in International Business is only available to students who major in the College of Business
The minor in organizational leadership helps students develop interpersonal and team skills, as well as further develop leadership experience.The program assists in preparing students for leadership roles within their chosen profession either within profit or not-for-profit agencies. Courses in this curriculumfocus on the field of organizational behavior and leadership by analyzing theoretical and proactical approaches to studying management.
The minor in organizational leadership is not available to majors outside the College of Business.
